Ash-Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih
al-Uthaymeen rahimahullah-while explaining ilallah sentence in the above verse,
said, "Really, du'at (the people who called and invited) to the path of
Allah Ta'ala divided into two parts. The first is the one who calls to Allah Ta'ala,
while the second is the one who calls to other than Allah Ta'ala. A street preacher
who called to Allah Ta'ala is really sincere, wants human relations with Allah
Ta'ala. The preacher who called on besides Allah Ta'ala, he could be called on
him. He called on the truth that he is honored and respected by the people.
Therefore, if orders are not fulfilled, he was angry. "(Al-Mufid Qaulul,
1/118)
Da'wah is called the truth. Of
course the truth that comes from God Almighty and His Messenger sallallaahu
Alahi SAW. Because essentially it's the absolute truth of God. With this da'wah
we strive to present the truth as it is. Allah the Exalted has glorified
greeting those who called on His way.
Da'wah as well as worship, is
a virtue that is also an obligation that has a high value in the presence of
Allah Ta'ala. Along with virtue and duty, as well as religious proselytizing is
a risky activity that is not light. Exams and slander in proselytizing
proselytizing often plagued the carrier. The Messenger of Allaah Alahi wasallam
and his companions in the arena wading proselytizing is always faced pressure,
both physically and mentally from the leaders of Quraysh at that time. But the
Messenger of Allaah SAW Alahi with patience and courage offset pressure waves
leaders of Quraish who partners with Allah Subhanahu Ta'ala.
Da'wah calling people to Islam
either by word and deed. Demands of this mission is fard kifaya, as commanded
by Allah that there are some among the Muslims who calls human beings to the
good, doing good deeds and forbid ordered unjust deeds, so that they get
success and happiness (Sura 3:104). With a mission that also called for Muslims
to unite and join forces on the basis of a common understanding and Assunnah
Koran (Sura 9:71).
